I'm always surprised when I pull out my handy-dandy salad spinner and someone asks, "What IS that?" I don't know how I ever made a salad without it! I like this one in particular because it 1) contains the water (kids can "spin away" on the counter, rather than being restricted to the sink), 2) it can hold a lot of salad, and 3) you can remove the basket and serve the lettuce right in the bowl if you're going casual. If you don't have one of these, I say go buy one! Right now! ;)
